Preschool Children:
JAAD's accepts children regardless of race, creed, color, religion, or disability. The current staff must be able to accommodate the ability of the child without increase of staff. We accept full time children ages 4 weeks through 5 years. A current application and immunization form must be on file for each preschool child. All records on children are kept confidential. If the decision is made to select our center, an interview is set with the parents/guardian to review policy and procedures.
School Age:
Children enrolled for the purpose of before and after school care during the 9 month school year will be cared for morning and afternoon. Staff will not be available for school age children between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. During the summer and holidays, the center will enroll school age children through age 12, if space is available. A current application must be on file for school age children.
Night care is avalible:
JAAD's is licensed for night care. Call for information.
Holidays:
The state offers 13 paid holidays for the year. Depending on the calendar year, additional holidays are added not to exceed 13.
It is the responsibility of the center Director to oversee safety in the building. Never send a child to school sick or with any form of a contagious bacteria. Viruses and other contagious diseases contain bacteria. It will spread if not treated. When in close diameter with people, especially children, bacteria will spread. You must have a doctor's note before returning to the center.
Absences:
There are no refunds when a child is absent.
Tuition:
Money orders, cash, or checks are accepted. Tuition is due Friday for the coming week. Receipts are given weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly depending on how you pay. A yearly total of payments with our Federal ID # is issued to each client in January. As a licensed center, we accept subsidized care and participate in the Flex Account.
Fees:
Registration Fees are not refundable. Annual registration fees are due in the month of August. All families must pay annual registration fees.
State Subsidezed Programs:
We accept funding from Child Management Agencies and Child Care Aware of America formally NACCRRA.
To Withdraw:
Please give the center a 2-week notice if you choose to withdraw your child.
